Objectives

Auto Capital approached Blue Canvas to overhaul their existing website with a fresh, new design that better reflected the dynamics of the company and provided new tools to customers, allowing for:

• Online Booking for MOTs and services
• Secure vehicle finance applications
• Customer updates to mobiles via SMS
• Easy access to details of any available vehicle from the Autotrader database

What we did

After narrowing down the website design from a range of drafts, we created a bespoke customer relationship system to integrate with the site, with features including:

• Service booking with automated (AJAX powered) lookup of vehicle data based on registration number
• SSL-secured finance application form
• Vehicle search and filter, by manufacturer and price boundaries
• SMS integration through Clickatell gateway

Results

Auto Capital has seen a marked increase in traffic since the new site launched, with monthly visitors at over 150% of previous levels.

Customer data is fully managed from a secured login (for both customers and staff).

Customers can be contacted through SMS; this is also done automatically to remind customers when an MOT or service appointment is coming up.
