Orphan's Relief Fund & Charitable Trust
Objectives
The client for this project was looking for a total rebuild of their existing website, incorporating a new and more attractive design, clearer navigation paths and better keyword optimisation, alongside new features for visitors to browse photos and videos.
The client was looking to transfer existing content to the new site and to be able to update the site themselves.
The client also wanted a site that would make it easy to organise and break down content by type, such as stories, photos, forms/interactive, etc.
What we did
Taking ORFACT’s existing brand/identity as a starting point, we created a new, accessible design with a nested menu navigation supported by a breadcrumb trail, allowing visitors to easily identify and follow through the content sections.
We created a customised content-management system with support for photo uploads and embedded Youtube content.
The system was created to allow full control over pages and content, with settings for options such as visibility, positioning, images, etc.
Results
The client’s objectives have been met through a public website based on the existing colour scheme and identity of the organisation, managed from a secured control panel.
The client is able to login and add or update pages, news, photo albums and videos.
The new site’s structure is standards-compliant and better suited for core keywords.
User-friendliness is now much improved and ORFACT has received a significant amount of positive feedback on the enhanced user experience.
